Professor Suzanne Miller and her graduate students in Communication Sciences & Disorders (CMSD) at California State University, Chico will be providing an online workshop on hearing-related topics with a focus on older adults. This session will provide helpful feedback about hearing health while giving students real-world experience with individuals who are affected by hearing loss.

Please join us on Zoom Tuesday, December 10th (5-7 pm) for student presentations and group discussions on a various hearing-related topics, including:

  • Communication strategies for individuals affected by hearing impairment

  • Relationship between hearing loss and cognitive function

  • Normal aspects of aging vs. aging with hearing loss

  • Effects of hearing loss on social-emotional relationships
