Reformation Day comes from Martin Luther’s 95 Theses he revealed on October 31st, 1517. This event was one of the building blocks of the entire Lutheran religion! Because this day is so important to us, on the last Sunday in October, we will welcome new members to Faith Lutheran who have been taking the New Members class. And not to overexcite you, but the Quilters will also be having their annual fall bake sale and boutique! Lots of handmade items will be available for purchase along with goodies galore. Bring cash and an appetite! Money the Quitlers earn for their October boo-tique go to support student scholarships and paratransit tickets that help people get to church. We invite you to wear red per Reformation tradition -or to wear whatever makes you you!- because we'll be having our picture day too! Please stay tuned for the next E-blast and church bulletin where we will announce the time, either before church, after, or both.
