Blessing of the Backpacks Donations

It's that time of year! Members and guests of Faith Lutheran are encouraged to purchase school supplies so that we can stuff backpacks and give them to children in need. Below is a list of supplies. You can drop off items on Sunday in the bins in the sanctuary; you may also drop them off during office hours (M-F 10am-3:30pm) directly in the office. The blessing will take place during worship on August 8th. Here is a list of items wanted: 

 15” and 17” backpacks

Pencil boxes, #2 pencils, thick pencils, sharpeners, and pink school erasers

Glue sticks, safety scissors, and index cards

Folders, binders, and pocket folders with prongs

Crayons and other drawing utensils

Spiral notebooks, composition notebooks, college ruled notebooks and paper

Highlighters, blue/black/red ink pens, sharpies, mechanical pencils

Protractors and rulers
