On May 21st, Faith Lutheran will hold its Annual Meeting. Part of the annual meeting is electing new members to the church council. The role of the church council is to provide the highest level of oversight to ensure that Faith Lutheran lives out its mission of being a community reflecting God's love with a place at the table for everyone. The council is also the decision making body legally responsible for Faith, and as such they oversee the church's finances, staff, and facilities.
If you know someone who is a member of Faith Lutheran and has the spiritual gifts for administration, discernment, faith, and wisdom, nominate them to serve on the council by contacting Cindy Kampf.
A full description of the role and responsibilities of council members can be found on page 33 of the "Equipped to Serve" booklet.
