We are back this fall with our regularly scheduled programming for all ages here at Faith Lutheran.
Our smallest friends and parents are invited to attend our Preschool Playgroup, which meets 2nd and 4th Saturdays monthly. We will meet on October 9th and 23rd for outdoor play, a Bible Story, and more fun!
Sunday School is rocking and rolling weekly! This is open to our elementary age friends. We gather before worship starts, and head back into service together at the passing of the peace to meet up with our designated grownups. If you’re interested in helping with this group, please reach out to Dani Vogel, our Director of Family Life, as we are looking for assistants and substitutes for the group.
Our youth programming is looking forward to an exciting year of meetings and fun. Youth group is open to students in 6th through 12th grade, and meets at 1 pm on the first and third Sundays of the month. We love hanging out and having a great time. If you’d like to help mentor these kids by being present in their lives and at these meetings, or if you’d like to feed us some snacks or lunches, let Dani know! We are also looking forward to attending more events including the retreats sponsored by the Sierra Pacific Synod Youth Council.
Young Adults group is back in action at Faith Lutheran Church. This group is geared towards our 18-40 year old friends, and includes a monthly competitive event, such as mini golf, trivia, corn mazes, and more, where participants can win prizes and the coveted Blue Jacket TM. We also meet an additional time a month to just hang out and enjoy each other’s company. Keeping budgets in mind is important to this group, and all “Field Trip” activities are 15 dollars or under. If you’d like to host this group for an evening, or would like to help defray costs for our young adults, let us know. Young Adults group meets the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month, and will do meet ups on other nights throughout the year. Meetups have included dinners, wine tastings, movie nights, and more!
