Home & Heart is a Home Sharing program that connects older adults who have an extra room and need assistance to successfully age in place (Home Providers), with community members seeking affordable housing (Home Seekers). Home Providers benefit from receiving extra income or helpful services such as meal preparation, transportation, and companionship. You can read more about their organization here.

We are searching for a housemate to accompany a 69-year-old male in a beautiful 2 bed/2 bath home located off Esplanade. This home provider loves to play music and is liberal minded. He would love to find a companion who shares similar values and hobbies. 
Rent: $500 or negotiable for exchange of services. 
Services needed: Companionship, Cooking, Housekeeping, Pet Care, and Yard Work.

We are seeking to find the perfect housemate for our 90-year old female provider. This provider is offering a mother in law sweet connected to a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home located near Lower Bidwell Park. Rent is negotiable but is starting at $400 and can decrease for work trade. She hoping to find a companion who will help with yard work and household tasks. She enjoys reading, ethnic food, watching jeopardy, and tending to her garden. 
Rent: $400 or negotiable for exchange of services. 
Services needed: Companionship, cooking, housekeeping, transportation, pet care, grocery shopping, running errands, yard work/gardening, trash removal, laundry, and home maintenance.

The home has a large yard that would be perfect for gardening. This home provider enjoys dancing, reading, and watching stand-up comedy.

We are seeking to match a 73-year-old female seeking a housemate for her 2bed/2bath home in Paradise. This provider is utilizing home share to stabilize her finances and gain a companion. She is looking for a clean and considerate female to spend time with and she is willing to accept a cat. This provider enjoys doing puzzles and would love to find a housemate who would be interested in joining together for shared hobbies.

This provider is a 65-year-old-single female seeking a housemate for her newly built home in Paradise, California. Her house burnt down in the 2018 Camp Fire and she would love to help out a fellow Camp Fire survivor. She is offering a private bedroom in her 2bed/1bath cozy and rustic home. She enjoys working in her yard, rehabilitating animals, sewing, and volunteering with the elderly. She would prefer a female housemate who is a non-smoker with an active and stable social/work life. She has one dog, who is blind (but can still play fetch!) and one cat; she will consider pets on a case-by-case basis.
