In Loving Memory of Carl Johnson

Our brother in Christ, Carl Johnson, died last night (April 17th, 2023). After months of medical complications, Carl's final day was spent with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren by his bed. Even as we grieve his death, we proclaim that Carl lives triumphant with his Redeemer. 

Carl's proudest accomplishment was being the husband of his wife, Faye, and the father of his two daughters, Cathy and Brenda. The rest of the world will remember Carl for his work developing new varieties of rice, including M-206, the most widely grown Calrose medium grain in California. If you buy a bag of rice in California, you will likely be fed by Carl's legacy.
