In Loving Memory of Carl Skounborg

At age 99, our brother in Christ, Carl Skounborg, has finished his journey on this earth and now rests in heavenly peace. The afternoon of March 2nd, Carl died peacefully in his bed, his wife Harriet holding his hand as Pastor Ben and family surrounded him in prayer. 

The son of Danish immigrants, Carl served during WWII in the United States Air Force. For over 70 years, he was an integral member of Faith Lutheran Church. The whole of his nearly century-long life, he was a faithful servant of Christ. 

Carl will be interred in Faith Lutheran's columbarium. His family is currently planning the details of his funeral service. We will announce them as soon as they are finalized.
