Lenten Memory Verse 3

Jesus turns the world's wisdom on its head: Love your enemies? The greatest becoming servants? Losing your life to save it? This week, pay attention to when you feel the need to prove to people, including yourself, that you have all the answers or that you are strong enough to solve every problem yourself. When you do, ask yourself, "What would happen if I admitted I don't know the answer? What would happen if I admitted I don't have the strength?" What would it mean for you to trust not in your own wisdom or strength, but in God's, even when it seems that doing so is foolishness and weakness?
