Relief Efforts for Hawaii

Maui, Hawaii has been devastated by wildfire. Hawaii's governer, Josh Green, describes the fire as the largest natural disaster in Hawaii state history. The majority of Lahaina has been destroyed, and the death toll has reached 99. The Grand Canyon Synod (ELCA), specifically Bishop David Nagler, is organizing an emergency relief fund. 

"Your gifts in their entirety will be used to support emergency relief efforts on the Hawaiian Islands of Maui and Hawai'i in response to the August 2023 wildfires that have claimed lives and destroyed homes and businesses. All funds received will be sent to organizations and agencies providing direct relief to those affected by the fires."
