Serve with Safe Space

Safe Space Winter Shelter is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization providing low-barrier emergency shelter during the coldest winter months for people experiencing homelessness in Chico, California. This year's shelter will be in effect from December 17th, 2023 to March 2nd, 2024, rotating from church to church. 

As of early December, temperatures have started dropping into the 30s. We are so grateful that this shelter exists to offer reprieve from the cold to those who don't have homes or beds. We encouarge everybody to pick up a shift or  make a meal - - there are roles for everyone and their unique skills and abilities! Serving at Safe Space is an excellent way to provide a meaningful gift this Christmas and winter season whether it's the gift of food, conversation, or helping hands.
