Steve was born in Hoisington Kansas and grew up living in numerous states and also 3 plus years in Germany. He attended high school in Roseville CA, Sierra College in Rocklin and then Chico State where he graduated with a degree in Physical Education.. Three years later a Master's degree was earned from Azusa Pacific University. Steve had two distinctive careers. Coaching college football for 17 years and then working for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals for 24 years. Steve is married to Carol Stanley Hall (36 years) and are both retired (Carol from Butte College after 39 years). They have two Children - Jake, wife Mikayla (children Maverick & Silas) and Cora Williams and wife Kristina. The Hall family were members at Faith years ago where Jake and Cora were baptized by Pastor Carl Wilfrid. After years attending other Lutheran Churches, Steve and Carol are very happy to be back at Faith.
